Bloemfontein 25 is located within the heart of Bloemfontein known as, ‘The City of Roses’. The city is situated in the centre of South Africa and has national highway access to all major cities, including Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Dating back to 1840, when a Voortrekker, Johannes Nicholas Brits, built himself a clay house beside a spring in the open dry pleins, Bloemfontein has developed into a prosperous and industrial city. Yet, the monuments and museums form a stark contrast to the vibrancy and vivacity of a truly ‘Africanised’ city. There is much to experience in Bloemfontein - not least of all - the overwhelming euphoric aura, which cloaks the city as it continues its successful evolution from beginnings of extreme separatism - to one of the finest examples of working democracy in South Africa.

Our table has currently got a very strong membership base. All our members have Round Table and it’s Aims and Objects at heart and strive to create awareness of these aims and objectives within the community locally, provincially, nationally and internationally. We can be proud to say that we have within our table quality Tablers. Our families serve as our support base and we rely on the 41’ers club for assistance with all our table activities and hold their knowledge in high esteem.

Our Clubhouse can be found in one of Bloemfontein’s oldest buildings known as Ramblers Sports Club. The clubhouse is filled with tradition and when entering an aura of events can be felt.

Bloemfontein 25 , was chartered on 9 October 1954 by Kimberley no. 5 , that makes us the 25th oldest Table in Artsa , and the oldest Table in the Free State Area. Our Table is seen as the leading table.

The first chairman in 1953 was R. Giese.

Meetings is on the first and third Thursday of each month and it starts at 19H00.

Dress code for meetings : Long trousers and collared shirts with smart shoes are compulsory for all ordinary meetings. All Tablers are to wear regalia during an ordinary Table meeting.
